  • Serum AFP (liver cancer); Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) [colon cancer] // expressed during intrauterine or early post-natal life

  • Surge of Serum AFP as a tumor marker before treatment, one can be diagnosed with liver cancer / ovarian cancer.

  • CEA – acts as a glycoprotein involving in cell adhesion, works in the formation of structures and contact inhibition. Tumor marker for colorectal cancer.
