• Distributed over 20,000 emergency shelter kits

• US Search and rescue + medical assistance

• Red Cross distributed 1.2 billion litres of drinking water and provided sanitation to over 560,000 people. Housed over 388,000 and supported 80,000 households financially.

Long term responses?

• Set up Haiti property law group - helped Haiti deal with long land issues and health hygiene to decrease Cholera. 

• Trained 6600 people in construction 

• Temporary schools + new trainee teachers 

• 2000 people access to clean water

• New homes built to a higher standard - built 300 homes.

Long term problems?

• Cholera outbreaks which is still ongoing today

• Over 1 million still live in temporary shelters 1 year later
