Appendicular Skeleton
Part of the skeleton that includes the limbs and girdles, responsible for locomotion.

Pectoral Girdle
Consists of the clavicle and scapula; only has one attachment to the axial skeleton.
Pelvic Girdle
A single bone structure that provides a strong attachment to the axial skeleton, with a narrower range of motion than the pectoral girdle.
Carpals
The eight small bones that make up the wrist.
Phalanges
The bones of the fingers and toes; each digit has three phalanges except for the thumbs and big toes, which have two.
Hemopoietic Tissue
Tissue involved in the production of blood cells, found in spongy bone.
Olecranon Fossa
A depression in the humerus that accommodates the olecranon process of the ulna.
Tarsals
The seven bones that form the ankle and proximal foot.
Metatarsals
The five bones in the midfoot.
