allows business operation with fair rules, codes, and regulations, establishing minimum wage and promotion of unions

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)

controlled floods, helping forest lands and electrifying places that did not have electricity

Works Progress Administration (WPA)

built roadway, public buildings, airports, parks, etc

Security Exchange Commission (SEC)

an act to regulate the stock market and stop fraud as a whole

National Labor Relations Act (NLRB)

organized factory election by doing a secret ballot to see if anyone wanted to form a union

Social Security Act (SSA)

gave financial support to older Americans and unemployed Americans
