Hello
A basic greeting used to start a conversation or respond to a teacher's greeting.
Hi
A simple greeting often used interchangeably with hello in greetings and drills.
Goodbye
A word used to say farewell or to respond to a leaving situation during the Greeting Race.
Yes
An affirmative word used in responses such as "Yes, I am ready" or "Yes, I can."
No
A fundamental vocabulary word used to give a negative response or denial.
Good
A word used to describe a positive state when asked how you are or as praise for a student's response.
Happy
A vocabulary word describing an emotion or feeling, used in the sentence pattern "I am happy."
Ready
A state of being prepared to start the English journey or a specific lesson activity.
Speak
An action word used to describe the ability to use English, as in "I can speak English."
Friend
A person you meet during the Hello Circle activity while practicing greetings.
