Rule 1
If you keep the OBJECT SIZE the same and double the VIEWING DISTANCE then the visual angle is HALVED.
Rule 2
If you keep the VIEWING DISTANCE the same and double the OBJECT size then the visual angle is DOUBLED.
What is the exception to Rule 1 and 2?
The rules are good approximations for small angles, but not angles greater than ~5 degrees
