Type I Environmental Label (Independent)
Third-party certifications that provide unbiased, reliable evaluations of environmental performance.
Type II Environmental Label (Self-Declared)
Product claims made directly by manufacturers without independent verification.
Type III Environmental Label (Environmental Impact)
The most comprehensive assessments based on a complete life-cycle basis, providing raw data rather than qualitative ratings.
Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA)
A framework used to measure the global warming potential and ecological footprint of a material, evaluating impact from initial extraction up until it leaves the factory floor.
Critical Path Method (CPM)
A scheduling and management technique used to identify the sequence of tasks that determines the absolute minimum time required to complete a project.
Float
Scheduling flexibility possessed by tasks that are not on the critical path line.
Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
A modern approach where the owner, design team, and construction team collaborate closely under a single joining agreement, sharing project risks, responsibilities, and financial rewards mutually.
Lean Construction
Project management practices that emphasize efficiency, continuous quality improvement, and the strict elimination of waste.
