How does it fit into ADF

This role keeps the Air Force running day to day — aircraft and units can't operate without the right parts and stores in the right place at the right time. It's also accountable work, since you're managing budgets, orders, and inventory Defence relies on. The impact isn't always visible, but everything else depends on it.

11 weeks at army school of ordnance, Victoria

What will I do in IETs

• storage

• selection, packaging and despatch of stores and equipment

• updating of inventory records

• supply administration

• Explosive Ordnance Safety.

Further training

undertake Warehouse Storeperson duties for 7 months at any major air base
