allopathic (al uh PATH)
a system of medical practice that treats disease by the use of remedies, such as medicatins adn surgery, to produce effects different from those caused by the diease under treatment; medical doctors (MDs) practice allopathic medecine; also called conventional medecine.
complementary and alternative medecine (CAM)
A grup of diverse medical and health care systems, practices, and products that are not generally considered part of conventional medecine. Complementary medecine is used is used in combination with conventional medecine (allopathic or osteopathic); alternative medecine is used insteand of conventional medecine.

The ability to determine what needs to be done and to take action on tour own.

Adhering to ethical standars or right conduct standars.

The way an individual percives and processes information to learn new material.
mneminic (ni MON ik)
A lerning device (e.g., an image a rhyme, or a figure of speech) that a person uses to help him or her rememberinformation.
Morale (muh RAL)
Emotional or mental condition with respect to cheerfulness or confidence.
Negligence (NEG li jens)
Failure to acts as a reasonalbly prudent person would under similar circunstances; such conduct falls below the standards of behavior established by law for the protection of others against unreasonable risk of harm.

A person who identifies patients’ needs and barriers, then assists by coordinating care and identifying community and healt care resources to meet the needs. may also be called a care coordinator.
