Step 3 Observe Plant
examine whole plant, flowers,trunk,leaves, etc, look at plant size,physical signs,
Step 4 Inspect and Evaluate Site
examine growing enviorment, texture, pH, drainage, soil coverings, irrigation type, surrounding plants, growth obstructions
Step 5 Look for patterns
damage on one side vs both, low vs high areas, abiotic vs, bitotic
Step 6 Review Plant Maintenance and Site History
questions,planting age,methid size, fertilizer use and chemical, past maintenance (pruning), irrigation, water source
Step 7 Condense Field Data
put all steps together and determine possible problems, where injuries is etc
Step 8 Samples and Testing
research, soil ph, texture, OM%, insects ID, water salinity nutrient deficiency, Plant Tissue diseases, deficiency/excess,
