an autocratic approach to overcoming employee resistance that may succeed in the short term but damaging in the long term
What is Manipulation?
providing incomplete or selective information about the transformation to get employees to do what you want

forcing employees to participate in change by stating that they may or will cause harm to them if they fail to do so eg. loss of promotion, termination
Advantages of High-risk Strategies? (2)
immediate implementation of change, low cost
