Chromosome
coiled up DNA. In the nucules. We have 46 chromozons
sister chromatidsq
X shaped.
Mitosis
Division of the nucules. Steps:PMAT
Cell cycle
Begins when the cell is created. Ends when a cell divides
Interphase
before mitosis. The cell is growing+getting ready to divide.
DNA replication
Happens in innerphase. DNA duplicates making sister chromotids
Prophase
The first stage. Nucular membrane breaks down. Chromosones coil up and spindle fibers more.
metaphase
chromozones attach to spindle fibers and line up in the middle.
Annaphase
spindle fibers shorten. Sister chromotids break apart and move to opposite sides.
Telophase
nucular membrane reforms. The chromozons uncoil. The spindle fibers break down and dissapear. Cyto
cytotisis
Cytoplasm spits, 2 new sells are created.
Spindle fibers
attach to chromozons during mitosis. Split sister chromotids apart .
Nucular menbrane
surronds the nuculus. Breaks down in pro phase. Reforms in telophase.
Daughter cells
This is what I c all the 2 new cells that are made after mitosis and cytoinessis.
What cells have more efficient diffusion
small because its quicker to digest to the middle
What do cells need to diffuse into their organelles
Oxygen
why does mitosis occur.
to grow or repair
Why does cytokinesis look diffrent in animal and plant cells
animal cells membranes are flexible + pinch together until till they are seprate.
Steps of dna replacation.
dna is split up the middle. New bases pair with the orginal strand.
