Ionic Bonds
Bonds formed when one atom donates an electron to another atom, creating positively charged cations and negatively charged anions that attract each other (e.g., NaCl).
Cations
Positively charged ions created when an atom donates an electron.
Anions
Negatively charged ions created when an atom receives an electron.
Hydrogen Bonds
Weak bonds between a hydrogen atom in one molecule and an electronegative atom (like oxygen or nitrogen) in another molecule (e.g., the bonds between water molecules).
