Protests-There were protests and assemblies all over Algeria and France.

Sovereignty-Algeria wanted the independence of governing their nation free from french rule. 

Culture-wanted to restore algerian culture and language. 

Religion-wanted to ensure Islam was protected and respected. As the French suppressed islam in Algeria. 

Economics-they wanted control over their own economics to jeep the wealth in Algeria instead of France.
