Small with large ears to release heat. Lives in burrows to stay away from the heat

Acacia tree

Long shallow roots to access as much moisture. Thorny leaves for less water loss. Wide spreading leaves to get sunlight.

There is little to no rainfall the whole year averaging only 200mm per year. There is usually no rain from November to February peaking in july at 77mm. However 90% of this is evaporated.

The temperature is between 20ºC and 35ºC the whole year peaking between May and July and being lowest in December and January
