2. ADC converts the sound from analogue to digital

3. Then the ADC passes the converted sound to the computer where it can be stored

How does DAC work?

1. Digital signal is sent through from a digital device

2. DAC converts the signal from digital to analogue

3. Then the DAC passes the converted signal to an analogue device and we hear the sound waves
