Húmedo. Slightly wet, especially in a way that is not pleasant (it could be the grass, a shirt)

Damp / “the sofa was still damp after I scrubbed the sauce away” / “the grass is still damp” / “it was a damp morning”

Empapado. Si lo apretás sale agua a chorros, la ropa pesa el doble.

Soaked / “the sofa cushion was completely soaked in sauce”

Empapado, con el matiz de que el agua te cayó desde afuera y de golpe, cubriéndote por completo. La superficie está chorreando activamente. Como cuando llueve torrencialmente

Drenched / “Within seconds, my shirt was drenched in soda”

Chorreado / chorreando

Dripping / “the sandwich was dripping with sauce” / “the sofa cushion was dripping with ketchup”
