 List five things you have to do if you want to be an active listener.

Pay careful attention (make eye contact)

Show the speaker that you are listening

Making eye contact, nodding occasionally; use body language - look relaxed, use verbal signals like „yes, mhm, oh, really?”

Responding in honest and direct way. Value information, don’t be aggresive, don’t put down the speaker
