Disability

Empowerment
Enabling a person or a group of people to speak on own behalf supporting a person or a group of people to take actions on own behalf . Sharing revealing knowledge or expertise with individual or groups so that they makes informed decisions to give service users power to be involved in or make decisions which affect them. Person centred care
Promotes and facilitates full participation of adults in all decisions affecting their lives e.g in care planning this means taking full account of their views and wishes feeling and where appropriate the views of other who have an interest in their safety and wellbeing it is about focusing care on needs of individuals rather than the needs of any service
Adults in need of protection
A person aged 18 or over who’s expose to harm through abuse exploitation or neglect. May be increased by their personal characteristics and or like circumstances and who is unable to protect their own well being property asserts rights or other interests and where action or inaction of another person or persons causing or likely to cause her/him to be harmed
