What is the procedure for alcohol/drugs prior to takeoff?

Anyone appearing intoxicated will not be boarded, if they have already boarded PAX must be removed

Anyone displayed multiple cautionary and unacceptable behaviors is considered to have the appearance of intoxication

FA’s will coordinate to determine if PAX is intoxicated, if consensus cannot be reached PIC will make final call

FA will inform agent that pax needs to be removed

Agent will remove PAX

Agent will not negotiate that pax be boarded

Pax will not be reboarded after deplaned

What is the procedure for intoxicated PAX during flight?

Inform pax that consuming alcohol not served by HA and by FA’s is a federal offense

Request that they stop drinking their beverage and stow it away, if it cannot be stowed it must be discarded

Remind that noncompliance may result in law enforcement upon arrival

What is the procedure for reporting alcohol related incidents?

All alcohol related incidents must be reported to the PIC

All alcohol related incidents must be reported within 24 hours

All FAs and FFA who witness event must submit in flight incident report

Can HA guarantee a allergen free flight?

HA cannot guarantee an allergen free flight

FA should NEVER state the HA is peanut/nut free
