Abbasid Caliphate
The Abbasid Caliphate was an influential Muslim Empire in the Middle East and North Africa that ruled from 750 CE to 1258 CE. It dominated the Silk road and played a big role in introducing technology, philosophies, goods, culture, and religion from China and Asia to the rest of the Western World. Its capital, Baghdad, was a hub for trade, learning, and cultural exchange.
