The Eucharist is the source and summit (highest point) of Christian life. At the Mass, through consuming the food that is Jesus, we are united with God and with each other. In this, we see the centrality of food to Jesus' mission.

The Nativity depicts Jesus' birth, when the Incarnation of the Son of God became revealed to the world. God became man in the baby Jesus at Christmas.
