Evaluate the presence and location of residual functioning thyroid tissue after surgery for thyroid cancer, ablative therapy with radioactive iodine

• Gamma camera with HEAP collimators when using I-131

• LEAP collimator when using I-123

I-131 or I-123

What is the dose of I-131 for Whole body Image thyroid?

1 to 5 mCi

What is the dose of I-123 for Whole body thyroid?

2 to 5 mCi

Is I-131 is given orally or IV?

orally

48 to 96 hours
