What is GAD

Generalized anxiety disorder for people life is generally stressful and even minor events provoke excessive and persistent and unreasonable worry

• tends to start in teens and young adult

• Must have 3 symptoms most days for more than 6 months

• This is the more common anxiety disorder

What is SAD

Social anxiety disorder is extreme fear of being evaluated or criticized by others

• could be eating or drinking in public

• Stage fright

• Symptoms show up before 11 years old

What is PTSD

Occurs after traumatic event, some are more susceptible than others as this is genetic due to decreased cortisol levels
