Applies to all under 18’s ‘concerned’ in youth courts proceedings - defendants, witnesses and victims
Anonymity automatically lapses at 18
Does not cover juvenile who is dead as they are not ‘concerned in proceedings’
“Nothing should be reported which could lead to the identity of the youth concerned in proceedings being revealed”
