Belief that all natural objects have life and spiritual essence, key in Shinto.

A period that strengthened Shinto as the state religion of Japan.

The indigenous spirituality of Japan, focusing on ritual practices to connect with kami.
Taoism
A philosophical and religious tradition from China emphasizing living in harmony with the Tao.

A Taoist concept meaning 'effortless action' or 'action without conflict'.
