What is the difference between a scalar and a vector?
Scalars have only magnitude (e.g., mass, temperature). Vectors have both magnitude and direction (e.g., velocity, displacement, force).
How are vectors represented graphically?
As arrows: the length shows magnitude and the arrowhead shows direction.
What does A⃗\vec{A}A or bold A represent?
A vector quantity.
How do you add two vectors graphically?
unit vector
vector that has a magnitude of 1 and points in a particular direction (i,j,k)
multiplying vector by scalar
vector * s = vector(absolute value of (s))
multiplying vector by vector
vector a * b = abcos(theda)
