Goddess worship to God worship

Early civilizations worshipped goddesses associated with fertility and creation. Women played significant roles in these societies, and their importance was reflected in their religious practices. Over time, however, there was a paradigm shift towards male-centered worship, driven by new agricultural knowledge that highlighted male contribution to fertility. This transition established male deities as central and led to women being seen merely as passive vessels. As male power increased, so did inequality.

Eve (Judeo-Christian Tradition)

The story of Eve in the Garden of Eden is a foundational narrative in Judeo-Christian belief systems. Eve’s decision to eat the forbidden fruit and share it with Adam is often interpreted as the original sin, leading to the fall of humanity. This portrayal has historically reinforced the idea that women are more susceptible to temptation, morally weaker, and responsible for bringing sin into the world. As a result, women were often viewed as needing to be controlled or guided by men, leading to their lower status and limited roles in religious, social, and political life.
