Relationship between frequency and wavelength
The lower the frequency, the longer the wavelength. The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength.
Relationship between frequency and energy
The higher the frequency, the higher the energy.
Relationship between wavelength and energy
The shorter the wavelength, the more energy.
Additive Color Theory
A color theory where primary colors (red, green, blue) can be combined to create secondary colors (magenta, yellow, cyan).
Primary Colors (Additive Color Theory)
Red, Green, and Blue
Secondary Colors (Additive Color Theory)
Magenta, Yellow, and Cyan
Subtractive Color Theory
A color theory that explains how we see colors by reflection; only reflected colors are observed.
Color observation by Reflection
Only reflected colors will make it to your eyes.
Yellow Light Reflection
When yellow light hits an object, red and green are hitting the object.
Green film reflection
Green light is reflected and blue light is absorbed.
