Prophase
The membrane around the nucleus dissolves releasing chromosome
Metaphase
Chromosomes are aligned vertically at the center of the cell. The centrosome moves into the opposite sides of the cell and then produces spindle fibers attaching to the chromosome
Anaphase
The sister chromatids are pulled by the centrosome, which brings one chromatid to the other side of the cell and the other chromatid to the remaining side of the cell
Telophase
A membrane forms around each side of the cell producing two nuclei
Cytokinesis
The process that divides the cytoplasm of a parent cell into two daughter cells after the nuclei have already been separated
Mitosis
A type of cell division that results in two daughters
Meiosis
A type of cell division where a singular cell divides twice to produce four cells containing half of the original amount of generic information
Interphase
this involves two chromosomes with sister chromatids each. Two centrosomes are found outside the nucleus.
Prophase I
Recommendation or crossing over will occur. The nuclear membrane disolves
