Purpose of Original Society
Formed to protect students from the tyrant governor Baldassare Cossa in Bologna. Used secret signs, words, and forms -- a ritual -- to protect their ranks from penetration and betrayal to ensure members safety.

Frats dominance and the practical complements to an academic education. Due to their diligence and commitment and superb execution, undergraduate Brothers and Alumni are successful in the commitment and make Kappa Sigma.
What has Champion Quest and A Greater Causes done?
Make Kappa Sigma the most preferred fraternity in the world. Motivate brothers to donate more and do more service hours then any other frat.
What has happened since 2003?
Kappa Sigma has become the largest College Frat on all levels of undergrad membership. Pledging to number of Chapters and Colonies and total undergrad membership.
The Ritual
The commitment by each Kappa Sigma member to a lifelong association with the Fraternity comes from the tie that binds each Brother to the order.
What are the Undergrad years?
Formative years to make strong relationships with the members that last a lifetime.
How to maintain the commitment?
Donate to the Endowment Fund, serving as a Volunteer Alumni Advisor, Commission member or Housing Corporation office, or simply enjoy the fellowship of Kappa Sigma throughout life.

Since Champions Quest in 2003?
Brought Kappa Sigma to the forefront of the fraternal world, defying the odds, growing the number of men and Chapters becoming a part of the order.
Kappa Sigma 2016-2017
Kappa Sigma broke the world record for the number of men pledged in an academic year by pledging. 10,564 men making kappa sigma the most preferred fraternity in the world.
What does Champion Quest focus on?
Building the necessary professional skill of self-promotion. Whatever career field you choose, the ability to express your unique skills and attributes will be essential to the furthering your career and ultimately making you more successful.
Champion Quest helps?
Each Chapter on being both the strongest Brotherhood and largest Chapter on campus by engaging in year-long recruitment, with at least three Pledge and Initiation cycles each academic year
What must every member believe in?
Men is responsible to a higher authority. I.E. a god.
The ritual broken up.
Consists of several parts. Common bond through all brothers. Everyone experiences the first part. The pledging ceremony.

Founded in 1919, the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund is the oldest college fraternity foundation, and represents more than 80 years of brother helping brothers. The funds mission is to support the charitable and beneficent purposes of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
