Chivalry
The medieval knightly code of conduct that emphasized bravery, honor, protection of the weak, and courtesy. Today, the term generally refers to old-fashioned, polite, and unselfish behavior—especially respectful, gentlemanly actions shown by men toward women.
Evil women hypothesis
