What counts as a projectile?
Objects that have been launched or thrown
What is significant about the vertical dimension?
It is always (or close to) the gravity constant (±9.81m/s²)
What is significant about the horizontal dimension?
There is usually no acceleration (= 0)
If something is dropped, and another thing is thrown, which will hit the ground first?
They’ll hit the ground at the same time since they are both moving at the gravity constant of 9.81m/s²

True! Movement in the x direction doesn’t technically have to relate to moving in the y direction
