Motion
A body or an object needs to be moving
Circular
The path of the moving object is a circle
Uniform
The object is moving at a constant speed
Acceleration
The rate of change or velocity/time
Circumference
The distance around the circle
Angular Velocity (w)
How fast the object is rotating
How much angle it’s covering
faster speed or smaller circle = faster rotation
Tangetial Velocity (Vt)
The actual speed of the object moving along the edge of the circle
Tangential because its direction is always tangent (touching) the edge of the circle
Tangential Acceleration (at)
Occurs when the tangential speed is increasing or decreasing
Centripetal Force (Fc)
The total force acting on the object where the direction is always towards the center of the rotation
Radius of Curvature (Rc)
The radius of a circle at a particular point, it is the length of the curve
