Structuralism
An early school of thought promoted by Wundt and Edward Titchener; used introspection to reveal the structure of the human mind.
Introspection
A tactic of psychological analysis in which participants described how they felt or what they pictured in response to images and sounds; the belief that inward thoughts can reveal truth about the psyche.
Functionalism
