what is the difference between absolute and relative location?

relative location uses a reference point in a relationship to another point wheres absolute location is the exact location you are located in.

How are globes and map projections related?

A globe is a scale model of Earth that depicts the area, distance and direction and a map projection is exactly that but flat on Paper.

How are site and situation different?

situation is the place of feature in a larger region such as, Texas. whereas site is the specific location of a place such as Katy.

What is the difference between human and physical geography?

Human geography is about population, political, cultural, behavioral while Physical geography is about remote sensing, soil, etc. Human geography is about humans and their problems or politics, etc.

formal is defined by a common characteristic for example states in the U.S. \n Functional - a central place + the surrounding territory linked to EX: At&t in functional Places Perceptional- defined by Popular feelings + images rather than by objective data. Functional is likevelative location. Perceptional is howone person sees it.
