when Fidel Castro set up a communist dictatorship with the USSR. then in response Kennedy decide to invade Cuba. then in 1961 1,500 Cuban exiles washed on to…. after 3 days of fights all 1,500 were killed or captured.

USSR started place missiles in Cuba and were capable of hitting america in a few minutes. Kennedy demanded khruchev remove them. soviet eventually agree to remove missiles as long as American doesn’t invade Cuba. they also signed a treaty.
