oxic horizon within 150cm of soil surface

Vertisols

Soils with at least 30% clay, wedge shaped soil structure

Aridisols

aridic soil moisture regime, some B horizon or salic

Ultisols

argillic or kandic horizon, base saturation

Mollisols

mollic epipedon and base saturation 75% to 1.8m or impermeable layer
