Entering a Curve

1. Decelerate your vehicle to reduce kinetic energy

Effects of Alcohol and Drugs/ Substance Abuse

1. It can lead to many risks

2. alcohol effects judgement, slow reaction time, motor skills, blurs vision, and causes driver to take risks

3. parents are liable for any underage drinking that takes place

4. drugs/medication may slow your reaction time and the ability to make rapid corrective actions while driving

5. if you refuse to be tested, your license will be suspended for 1 year

6. If a driver who is under the age of 21 is got with alcohol in their blood then their driving privilege will be suspended for 6 months

3. You are NOT required to stop for a school bus traveling toward you when there is a median that is a minimum of 5 vertical feet in width between the bus and your vehicle
