What’s the difference between probability mass and probability density functions?
PMFs describe discrete distributions; PDFs describe continuous distributions.
Why do exact values have 0% probability in continuous distributions?
Because there are infinite possible values, only ranges have measurable probability.
What is a cumulative distribution function (CDF)?
It shows the probability that a value is less than or equal to a given number, rising from 0% to 100%.
What are two uses of CDFs?
Calculating range-based probabilities and comparing different distributions.
