Thriving
A state on the scale where the body feels ready, the brain feels clear, and the individual feels focused and connected.
Gliding
A state on the scale where the body feels calm, the brain feels organized, and thoughts feel settled and balanced.
Surviving
A state on the scale where the body feels tired, the brain feels busy, and doing basic tasks takes extra effort.
Fluctuating
A state on the scale where the body feels restless, the brain feels jumpy, and focus or patience is harder to hold.
Struggling
A state on the scale where the body feels tight, the brain feels overloaded, and the nervous system is stressed.
Sinking
A state on the scale where the body feels worn out or exhausted, the brain feels foggy, and one may feel frozen or disconnected.
Victory Breath
A STARR exercise performed by reaching arms up and breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth to help the body stay balanced.
Sphinx Stretch
A STARR exercise involving lifting the chest gently and pressing hands down to wake up energy without pushing.
Tapping
A STARR exercise where the right hand taps the left knee (and vice versa) to help both sides of the brain work together.
Snowman Breathing
A STARR exercise where you breathe in slowly and let your arms melt down on the exhale to help big energy move out safely.
Havening
A STARR exercise involving crossing the arms and slowly rubbing down to use touch to help the body feel safe and connected.
