Pulmonary Semilunar Valve

The valve located between the Rt ventricle and the pulmonary artery.

Mitral Valve (MV or Bicuspid)

The valve located between the Lt atrium and the Lt ventricle.

Aortic Semilunar Valve

The valve located between the Lt ventricle and the aorta.

Aorta

The largest artery in the body; carries $O_2$ rich blood from the Lt ventricle to all parts of the body, except the lungs.

Rt Atrium

Receives $O_2$ poor blood from all tissues except lungs through superior and inferior vena cava; blood flows out through the tricuspid valve.

Rt Ventricle

Pumps $O_2$ poor blood through the Pulmonary Semilunar valve and into the pulmonary artery, which carries it to the lungs.

Lt Atrium

Receives $O_2$ rich blood from the lungs through pulmonary veins; blood flows out of the Lt atrium through the MV and into the Lt ventricle.

Lt Ventricle

Receives $O_2$ rich blood from the Lt atrium; blood flows out of LV through the aortic semilunar valve and into the aorta.

Vena Cava

The superior and inferior vessels that return $O_2$ poor blood from tissues back to the Rt atrium.
