Brief main arguments for the Constitution at the time:
The AOC obviously wasn’t working; if they kept operating under it, they would eventually turn into similarly like the constantly clashing Euro-powers
Under AOC, the fed. gov’t had no power to tax or enforce treaties.
a. States were setting tariffs on out-of-state goods
b. they had no united front to present to the other nations and needed a single voice to present themselves as a valid country.
If the framers didn’t promise to the antifederalists to add the Bill of Rights…
