Police officer
The authority you must obey even if their signals conflict with a stop sign, traffic light, or other traffic control device.
Yellow traffic light
Indicates that as you near an intersection, you should be prepared to stop before the intersection.
Stop sign at crosswalk (no stop line)
The location where you must come to a complete stop before entering the intersection.
White arrows
Markings used on some highways to direct drivers into the proper lanes for turning.
Single broken white or yellow line
A road marking you may not cross when doing so would interfere with traffic.
Solid yellow line and broken yellow line
A marking indicating you may pass other vehicles if the broken line is on your side and traffic is clear.
Slanting solid white line on right edge
A road marking that shows the road ahead will get narrower.
Waiting for a left turn
The situation where you should signal and keep your wheels straight while in the intersection.
Hand signal: Left arm and hand extended downward
Indicator that the driver plans to stop.

Indicator that the driver plans to turn right.
Traffic Circle Right-of-Way
You have the right of way when you are already in the circle.
Right turn position
The car must be close to the right side of the street when beginning this maneuver.

You should wait in the center of the intersection for traffic to clear.
Intersection Yield Rule
When two vehicles enter from different highways at the same time, the vehicle on the left must yield to the vehicle on the right.
Left turn yielding
You must yield the right-of-way to an approaching vehicle when performing this maneuver.
Blocked intersection
A situation where you should stay out of the intersection until you can pass through completely.

3-lane expressway passing
Passing on the right is allowed if no signs forbid it and the way is clear.
"No standing" sign
Means you may stop temporarily only to pick up or discharge passengers.
"No parking" sign
Means you may stop temporarily only to load or unload passengers.
"No stopping" sign
Means you may stop only to avoid conflict with other traffic or if directed by a policeman.
Parallel parking completion
On a level street, you should straighten your front wheels and leave room between cars.
