Adverb irregularity
When an adverb is placed before a sentence, that adverb may be modifying text after the subject, thus separating the comp. Predicate
Ex.: Unfortunately, he developed a deadly rash.
Simple subject and predicate example:
My sophomore honors students(subject) are (predicate) geniuses!
Bit less obvious simple subject/predicate example:
Studying grammar is the highlight of my day!
STUDYING is the subject or highlight of this person’s day
