Transversal
A line that intersects two or more lines at different points.
Corresponding Angles
Two angles that lie on the same side of the transversal in corresponding positions.
Alternate Interior Angles
Interior angles that lie on the opposite sides of the transversal.
Alternate Exterior Angles
Exterior angles that lie on the opposite sides of the transversal.
Same Side Interior Angles (Consecutive Interior)
A pair of angles that are located on the same side of a transversal line and are positioned between the two lines that the transversal intersects.
Same Side Exterior Angles (Consecutive Exterior)
A pair of angles that are located outside two parallel lines and on the same side of the transversal that intersects them.
Supplementary Angles
Two or more angles whose sum is 18021.
Vertical Angles
Two angles whose sides form opposite rays.
