What’s the Stanford-Binet scale?
Created the concept of a yielded mental age, the IQ at which the child functions at. Measures verbal ability
What’s the Wechsler Scale?
Contains studies that measure verbal and performative scales. Has Verbal, Performance tests and a test of the 2 combined
Reliable (Psych Test)
A test’s consistency (does the test yield similar results?)
Test-retest reliability
Comparing test scores by same person but different times. Scores can either improve or stay the same.
Valid (Psych Test)
Does it measure what it’s supposed to measure?

There’s a correlation between SAT scores and first-year college grades.
Stereotype threat
When somebody is worried about reinforcing a negative stereotype to the point where they now do bad because of it

When somebody thinks about reinforcing a positive stereotype to the point where they now do good because of it
