what are microbes?
microbes are cells and infectious agents that can not be seen with the naked eye (ex: bacteria, viruses, protozoa)

What is the distinguishing ft of archaea?
They are extremists. Thermophile and Halophiles. Methanogens (associates with the gut of cows)
Who was the first to observe microorganisms?
Anthony van Leeuwenhoek in the early 1700s.called them animalcules.
