Shielding effect
An effect where inner electrons block the nuclear pool on the valence electron, increasing the radius.
Number of principal energy levels
Refers to the electron shells; an increase in the number of electron shells increases the distance from the nucleus, increasing the radius.
Zero electron affinity value
Indicates that an element is chemically inert and doesn't attract the shared electron.
