Glacial Glide
A precision contact cooling skin treatment designed to brighten and stimulate healthy, youthful skin; can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as an add-on to laser or dermatology procedures to enhance outcomes and client experience.
Precision cooling
Extended cooling delivered by the Glacial Glide system to improve comfort, manage heat, and support treatment outcomes.
Hydrogel
Gel applied inside the treatment tip to fill the bottom of the well and facilitate a smooth glide on the skin.
Glide treatment card
A card that tracks remaining glide cycles; the remaining cycles are displayed in the left lower corner of the screen.
Glacial mask
Topical product applied to the treatment area (typically 2–3 pumps) to support the cooling and gliding during the glide cycle.
Handpiece
The device that delivers the cooling tip to the skin; must stay in contact with the skin once treatment has started.
Blue button
The control used to start treatment on the handpiece; treatment begins after pressing the blue button.
Cancel treatment
On-screen option to stop the current glide cycle; ends the treatment permanently.
Ten-minute glide cycle
One treatment pass lasting about ten minutes; the treatment area is approximately the size of two outstretched hands; timer starts at 10:06 when initiated.
Body tip
A larger applicator tip used for body treatments; may require more topical products; treatment area is larger and corresponds to the ten-minute cycle.
Treatment ergonomics
Proper patient positioning, bed height, and clinician comfort to optimize the treatment experience.
System boot up
Powering on the Glacial Glide system; do not unplug during boot up and wait for the system ready screen.
System ready screen
Screen indicating the system is ready for use.
Beep and indicator light
Audible beeps and a yellow blinking indicator at the end of treatment signaling completion.
Post-treatment instructions
Guidance provided after treatment, including follow-up care and scheduling the next Glacial Glide session.
Optional topical products
Kit products are optional; clinicians may substitute other products with cold durability and good glidability.
Treatment area coverage
Time should be spread evenly across the treatment area without lifting the tip, and adjoining areas should be tracked.
Standalone or add-on
Glacial Glide can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as a complementary add-on to optimize outcomes during other laser and dermatology treatments.
